Casual Daters – Are They For Real?
A casual relationship or casual dating is an intimate and casual relationship between two individuals who can have a close and casual sexual relationship or casual sex with little to no expectations of a deeper romantic relationship. When these relationships are started, often times friends or college classmates become the starting point of the relationship. The friends become casual friends because of the common interest in music, movies or just regular conversation. However, over time, as the friendship grows, it turns into a casual dating relationship.
Different motivations for casual dating vary widely. For some people casual dating is used as a means of getting back into the swing of things after being away from them for a while. They meet up again and this time go out on a date, get casual with each other and begin a serious relationship. It is kind of like re-entering the dating scene again after being away for a while.
Other people use casual dating to find romance again after the end of a previous relationship. Perhaps they broke up with their significant other and now they want to try to re-enter the dating scene again, but don’t want to commit to anything just yet. Casual dating is great for this because they get to date people again without feeling the pressure of commitment or long-term commitments.
Just like any relationship, casual dating require that you be cautious and responsible. In this type of relationship there is usually not a long-term plan, if any, for the future. The beginning of the relationship is casual and often used as a way to see how the other person is doing and what they like in life. As the relationship develops, you can start to explore each other’s hobbies and interests. You may even decide that the relationship can take the shape of an actual dating.
Because casual datings are intended as relationships that develop over time, you have to be more casual than you would be in a long term relationship. You have to be patient, kind and level-headed. This doesn’t mean you should be a couch potato; just that it is important to have a balance in your relationship. Too much of one element can make it hard to build another. It is easier to create a casual relationship than it is to build a long term relationship.
The advantage of casual dating is that it allows you to get to know a person before you commit to anything. You get to see what they like to do, what they like to drink and how serious they are about their career and other relationships. By talking to them, you can tell a lot about who they are. In fact, it is sometimes better to talk to someone for a casual relationship than it is for a committed relationship. You will know whether or not the other person is genuine or not by how they act and what they say.
However, you also have to realize that casual dating is not for everyone. If you have not had success with someone in a long term relationship, casual dating may not work for you. If you are looking for a short term relationship, then casual dating may not be the best route for you. You have to weigh your options carefully when deciding to pursue a casual relationship.
Of course, you never know what you may find when casual dating. You never know how serious the other person is. You never know if they will be serious about building a long term relationship. However, if you are truly looking for a way to enjoy your time off, casual dating can be a great way to go about meeting someone new.
